10:00 am- 3:00 pm – Pre-registered 3rd- 6th grade students sponsored by Kiwanis of Lander

4:00 - 8:00 pm – Open to the public at the Lander Community Center with many vendors and hands-on activities

5:00 pm – Happy Hour, free drinks by Fremont Distributing, and free appetizers provided by Water for Wildlife in cooperation with Wind River Farm to Plate and Wyoming Catholic College Catering Services.
Live Music by String Theory

6:00 – 7:00 pm – Putting contest with Golf Pro Doug Firth

All day - Shop local raffle

Saturday, May 19:
8:00-10:00 am – Kiwanis pancake breakfast (to benefit 6th grade field trips)

9:00am -5:00 pm – Doors open at the Lander Community/Convention Center with lots of demos, activities, vendors, and food all day.

10:00 - 11:15 am - Pet Release Demonstration – How to release your pet from a trap

10:00 am –Medicinal Plant Hike (Sinks Canyon, see other opportunities)

11:00 am - Flycasting demo and hands on instruction brought to you by Popo Agie Anglers

9:00 am 12:00 pm - Kuhl Pancake Breakfast at Wild Iris Mountain Sports, $5 Donation gets you a mug, free pancakes & coffee. Raffle for Central Wyoming Climbers Alliance (CWCA) will start 5/1 and wrap up 5/21. All money raised goes to CWCA.

10:00 am-12:00 pm, 1 -3 pm, and 3- 5 pm Medicinal Plant Hikes with John Mionczynski
Come and find out which plants were important as food and as for medicinal use to the native inhabitants of this area.  This hike includes a mix of botany, history and chemistry.  Please bring snacks, water, sturdy shoes, sunscreen and insect repellent.  A notebook and camera are also strongly recommended.  John's events usually fill up very quickly so we encourage you to show up early at Bruce’s Parking Lot in Sinks Canyon. Please contact John Mionczynski at (307) 330-5917 for more information. No registration is required, just show up a few minutes early.

10:00am Lander Icebreaker Golf Scramble - Kick off your golf season with an 18-hole one-person scramble. Combined Men’s and Women’s. Free BBQ and winners for closest to the hole, deuce pot, net & gross skins. $50.00 entry fee. Call 307-332-4653 for more information.

12:00 pm -5:00 pm- Ladies Bike Ride – With instructor Stacy Wells. Limit 12, cost $50.00. You will explore the trails at Johnny Behind the Rocks and try new skills. This is an intermediate class.
