Friday, May 8:
10:00 am – 3:00 pm – Pre-registered 3rd- 6th-grade students visit education stations
4:00 – 8:00 pm – Open to the public at the Lander Community Center with many vendors and hands-on activities
5:00 pm – 6:30 pm – Happy Hour, free drinks by Fremont Distributing, and appetizers served by Wyoming Catholic College Catering Services.

All day – Shop local raffle

Saturday, May 9:
9:00 am – 5:00 pm – Doors open at the Lander Community/Convention Center with lots of demos, activities, vendors, and food all day.
Ryan Callaghan and Danielle Prewett of the Meateater crew will be available off and on throughout the day for a talk on cooking game meat, judging the Cook-Off, and a meet and greet.
6:00 pm – Water For Wildlife WOW appreciation BBQ and judging of the Cook-Off by Ryan and Danielle- raffle prizes drawn here.

MeatEater Guest Bio’s:

Ryan Callaghan
Ryan “Cal” Callaghan is Director of Conservation at MeatEater and host of Cal’s Week in Review. Callaghan studied history and anthropology at the University of Montana before becoming a hunting and fishing guide on the outskirts of Glacier National Park, the Missouri breaks, the Frank Church and Bob Marshall wilderness areas. Callaghan was the first employee of the now MeatEater-owned technical hunting apparel company First Lite, where he established the brand’s conservation ethos which they are known for today. Callaghan is a member and national board member of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers.

Danielle Prewett
Danielle Prewett is the founder of Wild + Whole and a wild foods contributing editor for MeatEater. Texas is home for Danielle, but her love for the outdoors developed while chasing birds across the grasslands of North Dakota. She has been living off the land for the last several years and is fascinated by the richness of wild game. Danielle strives to portray this beauty by teaching others how to cook and enjoy their harvest.
